DMG’s project managers (PM) take ownership of their projects from day one. They are responsible for everything from estimating the project through punching out the job.
Once the project is awarded, the PM buys out the job and begins the submittal process. When the submittal is approved, the PM then engages our construction management team to coordinate installation of the HVAC systems. From that point forward, the PM and field construction manager work together, attending job site meetings and ensuring that the project is done correctly, and as scheduled. DMG’s assistant project managers also provide support to the PM as needed. This ensures that DMG’s valued customers get what they need, when they need it, in order to be successful.
As the nuts and bolts of DMG’s operations, the field construction management team delivers on the company’s “Whatever It Takes” motto. DMG’s construction managers ensure that projects are being installed both correctly and in a timely manner according to construction schedules.
The field construction team manages DMG’s construction projects across the entire state of Texas, serving as eyes and ears in the field. They are also responsible for attending weekly job site coordination meetings with the general contractors. Should any issues arise, construction managers report back to the PMs in order to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
DMG utilizes state-of-the-art technologies on job sites, including iPads with software that enables the team to redline and mark-up plans as needed. This information can instantly be sent to PMs, general contractors and engineers, allowing DMG to expedite whatever decisions are needed.
DMG’s operations team keeps the ball rolling, day in and day out. From coordinating the initial bid processes to providing close-out documents, they ensure that the company runs like a well-oiled machine.
Operations is responsible for all of the meticulous back-office paperwork that must get done. DMG’s very responsible and professional staff work together to support project management and construction teams, so that everyone can be successful in the field.
