The Northwest Independent School District required HVAC and energy management solutions for their new Berkshire Elementary School.
Solutions
During the project, DMG installed owner-provided kiln hoods and a kitchen hood. We also developed and executed a plan that included providing and installing the following:
- 66 rooftop units with factory-installed ionizers
- Seven split systems
- 34 exhaust fans
- Roof hoods
- Storm louvers
- Diffusers
- Ductwork
- Fire dampers
- Black iron grease duct with fire wrap
Our scope of work also included installation of an energy management system.

Berkshire Elementary School opened in 2021 as part of the Northwest Independent School District, serving 600 families in its inaugural year.
